I recently purchased an RTF 2m by Vincent Merlijn from Alex Breaux of Soaring USA. Although I have faith in the USPS and other delivery services, it takes just one drop or crush from packing or anything to damage a ship. One of my other disciplines is fly fishing, particularly beach fly fishing and this weekend I was headed to Bolsa Chica in Southern California. A quick search revealed the location of Soaring USA was on the way.
Arriving there, I was invited in (appointment only) and was greeted by Jeanine and Alex. Quickly I was given my 2m wrapped in bubble plastic and I started a conversation on my further interests in radio control soaring. Alex is super knowledgeable and helped me with assembly techniques on the 2m (Mylar wing root tape to protect covering) and answered my questions which lead him to further suggestions on different wings I may be interested in.
We shook hands and I was back on the road to my fishing destination.
