I did it. I didn't buy a simple radio. I decided if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it right and the direction I'm taking is to contest with a bunch of really good pilots. I could do it with a four-channel radio but I already know where I'm headed and by the time I get near there, this radio will have taught me so much.
I'm going to register it tonight and get the variometer module. I've always wanted to have one and now I do. The sounds even remind me of the Swiss variometers I used.
Quality, it appears to be a really well-built system and it's not Futaba. I love Futaba but I think I'm going to enjoy learning this computer radio.
